Happiness is...........

That my friends, was a beautiful weekend!
I'm grateful for a full and abundant life and this past weekend I was able to disconnect and spend quality time with some very special people in my life. My entire family assembled for a far too short weekend of laughter, tears and lots of  "do-you-remembers?" It was also the first time in several months that I'd had two consecutive days off---I'd forgotten how wonderful three day weekends are!
This morning as I dive back into work, studying, training and everything else that makes my world go round, I'm grateful for pieces of the weekend that's I'm savoring and the happiness they bring.

Happiness is;

Being loved for exactly who you are- the good, the bad and the crazy.

Starbucks chai lattes.

Conversations with your sister that make you smile all day long.

Long walks with your best friends.

Sweaty, shaky, push-your-limits workouts.

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Isaiah 26:3

Removing the word regret from my vocabulary.

Highschool football games in drizzly, foggy, trying-to-snow weather.

Having a job that you love.

Baked potatoes and chili around the campfire.

Legitimately funny sports puns.

What brings happiness to your heart today?

  1. Haha I love the convo with your sister! Too funny. There is a LOT to be said for having a job that you actually enjoy. It just makes LIFE more enjoyable. Have a great Monday!
